High iron ore can only be obtained by players of a certain level (1525) or with a certain blacksmithing skill (one point into the first passive). Most players have maxed out blacksmithing so they get rubedite, or they haven't worked on it at all so they get iron. To know if your price is fair, look at other ores (except rubedite).
What are some good zones for farming rubedite? You don't have to tell me where you farm it, unless you're feeling generous, because i know how that crap needs to be kept a secret. But here's an idea... go farm Rubedite ore in Wrothgar, then refine it. You might get lucky. I farmed Rubedo leather in one of the caves there, refined the stack of 200 and got two Dreugh wax out of it. ... There is no way to compare ESO's grind to korean grind based mmos. The way i make most of my gold is farming rubedite and vile mansion. Farm vile mansion just farming for an hour i get about 15k then i go farm rubedite ore i refine it any temps i may get from it i sell them and then sell the ingots in the guild store.
